I have lived in the Triangle area (Research Triangle Park - Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill) since 1975, when I entered NC State University as a freshman, majoring in Biological and Life Sciences. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1979. I returned to NC State in 1981 and studied Computer Science. I began working at Nortel (Northern Telecom) in the computer room on 2nd and 3rd shift. I continued my career there until 2007, holding many positions during my 25 year career there. I gained valuable experience in systems and processes, contracts, negotiating, people and time management, training, documentation, systems testing, computer hardware and software, and dozens of end-user applications. I bring a unique blend of hard work, professionalism, dedication, efficiency, business knowledge, and common sense to my real estate business. I work diligently with buyers and sellers to help them make the wisest real estate decisions possible, making the most efficient use of their precious time and money. I have lived in Raleigh, Chapel Hill, and Durham, so I have real life experiences in all three major areas of the Triangle which I can draw upon to assist in your real estate purchase or sale. For sellers, I can help you get your home "Market Ready" by setting the correct price up front, bring in a professional decorator to guide you through the selection of paint and carpet colors, if needed to properly stage the home before selling, get contractor quotes and coordinate updates and repairs. I will hire an appraiser to measure your home and draw a sketch of the room dimensions and floorplan. I will hire a professional photographer to take high-quality interior and exterior pictures of your home that will cast it in the "best light". I will hold a broker open house/luncheon within the first two weeks of listing, then hold a public open house the next week. I will hold open at least monthly or more frequently if high traffic volumes are indicated. No one will work harder to sell your home than I will. My pledge to you is to sell your home for as much money as possible, in the least amount of time possible, and with as little inconvenience to you as possible! For buyers, I will work diligently to find that perfect dream home that you are seeking. I will conduct a thorough interview with you to understand your needs and requirements for a new home, neighborhood, and community. I will draw upon my 33 year residence in the RTP area to help you locate the perfect place to call home. I will search the local MLS systems and other internet sites to be sure you have access to all the homes for sale in this area. I will set up appointments to see the best ones and gather information about the ones you are most interested in. When you are ready to make an offer on one, I will perform a thorough analysis of the price to ensure you are not over-paying for a home. I will also negotiate price, terms, and conditions which are in your best interests - not mine or the sellers. I will coordinate all home inspections and attend them, if you are unable to. I will attend the closing with you to ensure a smooth transaction. I can also help you arrange for financing with our in-house lender.
